MEADOW'S MENAGERIE
Meadow's Menagerie is the latest collection by Chelsea Meadow. Following the well-loved Fenton Fox sculpture, a series of other animals ensued. Made from chicken wire, old clothes and lonely buttons, each of these characters shine with their own personality.
Featured at the Compton Verney Textile Exhibition 2015.

KANGAROO KEITH
Kangaroo Keith was the first born into the menagerie. He started out life as a meerkat, however the longer his nose grew and grew, the more marsupial he became. It is common for the female kanga to raise the joey, however in this case it is Keith who takes a lead role in looking after Baby Roo.
Too young to permanently leave Keith's pouch yet, Baby Roo can only be removed with the most loving and gentlest of hands.

DIDIER JAMÈS
Didier Jamès (pronounced: jah-mez) is the worlds only French-Morrocan Writing Lizard.
Born in France and a lover of culture, Dider has seen his fair share of the world. He fell in love with Morroco and spent many years here. He would explore the dunes of Erg Chigaga and gaze at the starlit desert sky.
A scholar in literature, he now writes romantic novels inspired by those starlit skies he spent many precious moments under.

ORWELL
Despite his grey beige shades, Orwell is in the prime of his youth. He has a long way to go before he upholds the title of the 'wise old owl'.
He is cheeky and inqusitive and will take any opportunity to go on an airbourne adventure whilst you're not looking. So be careful turning your back, but rest assured, he will always come back home.

Legend has it that Artemis was once Count Art - an unjustly feared vampire who felt alone in the human world. Without the ability to turn into a bat, he studied for years to learn the art of Therianthropy. One night, he concocted a deeply purple bubbling potion and with one tiny sip, he began his transformation.
Whether you believe in Therianthropy or not, it is clear from Artemis' eyes he has experienced more than your average bat...

SALLY SALIS
Sally Salis is quiet, but not slow. Her quick wit and self-awareness makes her the sassiest snail around.
Being a giant snail was hard for Sally initially, but now she embraces her height and knows her beauty.
She is known to spent a lot of time grooming and pruning her feathery pig tails. We love how they bounce and float behind her as she elegantly bobs from place to place.

Snoozy dozy Ishmael.
